A Busy Week At BBC Gardener's World Live

After weeks of preparation and planning we were pleased to finally get to the N.E.C and start a busy five days at the show. Attracting over 100,000 people each year the event is one of the biggest in the gardening calendar and is a great opportunity for green fingered visitors to see celebrity gardeners in action, innovative displays and designs and to meet a vast array of exhibitors.

Luckily the sun shone most of the week and by the weekend temperatures were hitting 25 degrees plus. The outdoor pavillions were as ever a huge success and we loved the recycling display with its inventive ideas for plant containers and its washing machine water feature.

Our stand was in the ‘Countryfile’ area of the show and we had a lovely time meeting visitors and fellow exhibitors. Being next to the radio room meant that a number of celebrities passed our way. John Craven even stopped to look at our collection of eco friendly bags before being whizzed off to be interviewed. Our local radio station BBC CWR also popped by our stand and interviewed us live.
