Founded in 1982, the Young People’s Trust for the Environment is a charity which aims to encourage young people’s understanding of the environment and of the need for sustainability.
We want to give young people a real awareness of environmental problems, such as disappearing wildlife, the pollution of soil, air and water, the destruction of rainforests and wetlands, the spread of desert regions and the misuse of the oceans.
All our materials aim to provide balanced views to take into account the realities of the modern world. Sustainable development – industry with less impact – is the way forward.
