Install A Heat Pump and Save on Your Energy Bill

Are you spending huge amounts on heating your property with oil, LPG, coal or electricity?

Install a heat pump and save on your energy bill, whilst getting an excellent return on investment.

Heat pumps extract heat from the air or ground. This heat then passes through a heat exchanger to raise its temperature, before going into your heating system. This heat is of course completely free and renewable, meaning you can reduce your fuel bill and your carbon footprint.

As well as making big savings, you can also get paid for the heat you generate, through the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). The RHI for domestic properties is expected to become official in summer 2013, and when it does, anyone who installed a heat pump after the 15th July 2009, will be eligible for the RHI. It is currently proposed that a ground source heat pump owner will receive up to 17.3p for every unit of heat they generate, whilst air source heat pump owners will get up to 11.5p. You will receive these payments for seven years after the install.

This means that installing a heat pump is a very logical step – you get a brilliant return on investment, save money, reduce your carbon footprint and heat your home or business efficiently.
