A Blowy Bank Holiday at Sheffield's Green City Days.
Our first event ‘up north’ was certainly one we wont forget in a hurry. Whilst here in the midlands we had a very wet and windy bank holiday weekend, further north in Sheffield it was dry but extremely breezy to say the least. Our newest member of the team Kristie was in for a bit of a shock at the extreme weather conditions.
Needless to say the locals were a hardy bunch and a bit of blowy weather didn’t put them off attending the show. We had hundreds of visitors to the stall throughout the weekend who were interested in a variety of the products we were showcasing. There were lots of families attending so the eco baby section was popular and so too the green gifts and our ethical clothing collection.
As usual there were plenty of wormery questions, a request for bike bins to be made available for wheelchairs and the green dog products proved a popular talking point too.
Our eco tombola’s second outing was well received with vistors winning a host of eco goodies and was a favourite with the kids and adults alike.
Our next event will be at Camden Green Fair where we will be joing our friends at the green roadshow followed by another outdoor event in Redditch town centre on 7th June.
