A Green Day Out in Moseley
Moseley in Birmingham played host to its second Green Christmas Fair on Saturday. Organised by the local Friends of the Earth group the event was well attended and consisted of a wide range of environmentally friendly organisations.
Our pick of the bunch included the ‘Send a Cow‘ charity, although do check out their website and you will discover you can send a donkey too! Globehuggers energy saving gadgets were popular and Catherine Bowdler’s recycled gift wrap and beautiful gift boxes were also a hit. Our friend Tracey from the ‘Wildflower Patch‘ was also on hand with her collection of local plants and native wildflowers.
We had a lovely morning, enjoyed tea and home made cake and the residents of Moseley had the chance to get some last minute green gifts. Well done to Ben and the rest of the gang at the Birmingham Friends of the Earth group!
