A Very Busy Day At Ludlow Green Festival
We always enjoy visiting Ludlow for their annual green festival. It’s a beautiful market town set amongst the rolling Shropshire countryside and because of its position manages to attract visitors from the local area, Wales and the West Midlands. What’s more the team behind the event ‘Ludlow 21’ are a dedicated, hardworking bunch and never fail to put on a diverse range of events throughout their green week climaxing in the green fair held in the market square.
This year seemed busier than ever and there was hardly a lull in people perusing the stalls. If last years visitor numbers were 2,000 this years event must have easily eclipsed that number.
This year saw some new stallholders at the event. Our friend Peter Arthur was their with his beautiful reclaimed furniture and we also met Jo from Mill Cottage soaps who had an extremely busy day selling her gorgeous hand made soaps. Other regulars and GreenFinder friends were there too including Sempatap, Fleeces & Pieces and Lakeside Ethical Treats.
A big well done to the organsiers who made the day a really special one!
