An Energy Saving Measure To Drive You Round The Twist
An American delivery company have managed to save 32,000 tonnes of CO2 by employing quite an ususual energy saving measure on their journeys. Their ‘no left turn’ programme has meant they have cut 30 million miles off delivery routes and saved 3 million gallons of petrol.

The ‘no left turn’ programme ensures that drivers do not waste time trying to cross traffic leading to savings of time, money,energy and of course CO2.
For decades the company has been planning journeys with a series of loops and as few left turns as they can manage although it is only in the last few years that internally developed technology has ensured that their computer generated journeys really put the plan into action.
