Another Green Christmas Fair for the Midlands
Solihull will be host to the Big Green Market on 21st, 22nd and 23rd November at Mell square. The event described as a ‘street market with a conscience’ includes a varied mixture of ethical goodies, from organic cabbages to contemporary crafts and is a great opportunity for people to both do some eco-friendly Christmas shopping as well as stocking up on organic fruit and vegetables.
The event is organised by Jane Redfern, and Paul Kennedy who have collaborated on this project to bring green/eco products, locally produced and ethically traded goods into our town centres. The market will be open from 9am to 5pm on each day and is free for people to wander around.
The Midlands will be playing host to an array of green and environmental events in the upcoming months. Saturday 1st November sees the West Midlands Vegan fair take place at Wolverhampton followed by the Warwickshire Green fair on 6th December and a tree planting weekend at the Sun Rising Natural Burial Ground will take place on 6th & 7th December.
