Bushcraft Courses At Greenwood Forest Park
Move over, Ray Mears – visitors to a local attraction have been learning outdoor survival skills
Half term visitors to GreenWood Forest Park were given the opportunity to attend Bushcraft sessions run by Dolgellau-based Firefox, where skills such as fire making, shelter building and identifying edible plants were taught. GreenWood Co-Founder Andrea Bristow said: ‘it was great fun to have a go at timber and clove hitches to make a predator whistle out of a split Hazel and some greaseproof paper. Managing Director Stephen Bristow added: ‘learning about fire making and watching the kettle boil on the fire brought back lots of camping memories’.
