Launching online this September, there are two different styles; organic lavender pots or natural beeswax pots.
Lavender Pots
In the Victorian language of flowers, lavender has many romantic connotations, but principally it signifies devoted and loving hearts, making it the perfect plant to associate with your wedding day. Filled with Organic Lavender, grown by a lavender specialist on the edge of the Cotswolds, the baby plants can be planted out in the garden after the wedding. There are over 20 different varities of lavender available, all grown in organic soil. Made to order, in a choice of two pots depending on budget; the organically shaped handthrown pot, made in the UK, for £6 or the straight sided terracotta pots, made in Portugal for £4. Perfect for dressing the reception table, they can be decorated with a ribbon or place tag to coordinate with the wedding theme.
Beeswax Pots
Hand filled with a deliciously sweet smelling beeswax, these minature terracotta pots make great table decorations at £6 each. (Order 10 or more, £5 each). Using pure beeswax from an apiary in Gloucestershire, each mini candle has a burn time of approximately 17-18 hours. The pots can be reused afterwards as tealight holders. Honey also has a connection with wedding traditions, centuries ago it was customary for the Bride and Groom to drink mead, (a wine made from honey), for a month after their wedding, these sweet little pots are a less intoxicating way of keeping that tradition!
