Natural Health Review: The Metro Yoga Bag
Due to its slim line appearance, at first glance the Metro Bag appeared to be way too small to fit all the ‘necessary’ stuff that I pile into my usual sports bag, but once I’d opened it up I was surprised at how roomy it actually was…
My first use was for a pilates class at my local gym. My yoga mat easily fitted onto the cinch cord at the bottom and didn’t protrude out in such a way as to get in my way when carrying the bag. I used the inside pocket for my water bottle as that one appeared to be slightly bigger than the ones on the outside, although it would fit in at a push. Plus there was ample room for a towel, small toiletry bag and a change of clothes.
Although there were a number of zipped pockets inside the bag to keep keys and mobiles safe, unfortunately I’m a kind of throw everything in at once type person (and then spend ages trying to find everything!) so they were wasted on me, but a great feature for an organised person!
The bag was comfortable to carry and I really liked the magnetic snaps which provided quick and easy access for anything in the side pockets.
My second use of the bag was for a gym session. This time I put my trainers in the bag but found that didn’t leave much room at all, so in the end carried them separately. But other than that I still managed to fit everything else I needed in it for my session. Plus the cinch cords worked a treat, as I attached my wet towel after my session to the bottom of the bag, which stopped all my other stuff from getting wet!
For its intended use as a yoga bag, this is a great, affordable and stylish bag and has more than enough room to fit what you’d need for a session. As an added bonus it also works well as a gym or any other use bag.
