The Green Woman Range of Vegan & Zero Waste Deodorants
The Green Woman is an eco friendly brand of organic, natural deodorants and green cream (a luxurious plant-based skin food for dry or sensitive skin). It is handmade in small batches in the UK and was first created by two sisters in 2013.
I have been using a couple of products these past few months and I can highly recommend them. I trialled the award winning Fit Pit sensitive which was effective in keeping me feeling fresh and clean all day and it did what it said on the tin, it didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Another advantage of this deodorant unlike others is that it doesn’t sting and there are no tell tale white marks on your clothing. As you only need a small pea sized amount a little goes a long way.
The deodorants are all free from aluminium salts, parabens, BPAs, palm oil and petrochemicals. They are 100% organic and vegan and also come in a variety of scents including peppermint and tea tree & orange. They also have a mens range and one for teenagers too.
Green Cream
The other product I sampled was their green cream. I wash my hands a great deal as I’m a busy mum, chicken keeper and a new dog owner. Within a few weeks of receiving the green cream the Coronavirus crisis hit so I’ve been washing my hands even more than usual. The cream has been great in keeping my hands moisturised and keeping irritation to a minimum. The ingredients include a creamy blend of 100% organic oils including shea butter and aloe vera which help nourish the skin and relieve dryness.
Zero Waste Packaging
Another plus for me is the fact that their products are all plastic free and the packaging is recyclable, compostable or reusable. Both products I received were in small glass jars that once finished I can recycle or reuse. For more information about The Green Woman collection please visit their website.
