Green Book Review:I Choose You
We were delighted to be sent a lovely little book called ‘I Choose You’ to review this month. Publishers Silver Jungle have teamed up with Lisa Jones Studio to produce a charming children’s story about a variety of animals which contain contemporary and quirky illustrations ideal for youngsters aged 5 and over.
As with previous Silver Jungle books, sales are helping to support endangered species, this time monkeys. There are over 100 species of monkey on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, of these 24 are critically endangered. For every copy of I Choose You bought directly from Silver Jungle £1 will go to CERCOPAN, whose work in the Cross River State of South Eastern Nigeria is helping to preserve the area’s remaining rainforest and resident monkeys.
